For the Birds!

I don’t know that much about birds, consequently I always get a little nervous when I go to Rescues or Sanctuaries, like in this case when there are only birds to talk to.

I should not have worried. All of them did brilliantly and they sent me the most accurate and specific pictures I have ever had.

Take for instance the bird who told me Dad was in the kitchen cooking and he would get to try every single ingredient in the meal he was preparing. . . Imagine my surprise when, as I am translating this picture, the Mom told me Dad is the ONLY one who cooks at home and indeed this little parrot does try everything!

Of course, lots of them were pulling their hair but that’s where the similarities ended. All of them for different reasons and those needed to be explained in detailed to the humans.

I had birds who were lovingly close to one human until they decided to start loving someone else better. (No, I can’t change their minds).

I had a couple who only loved their human and could not see themselves separated from them.

Had a talk with the spirit of one who accurately described the emotional state of her owner.

And finally I had a 70 year old Macau who requested some help holding up his head after a series of seizures had left him with a very crooked head.

I had an amazing day and as always the animals surprised me with their wisdom and love for their humans.

I have been extremely busy this week and on top of that I had problems with my Website and I was trying to juggle as much as I could while also putting the finishing touches on my fifth book before it goes to print next week.

That why I didn’t pay attention when a 17 year old cat came popping up in my mind every few hours. I knew the cat was not well and had spoken to the cat’s human a few times. But I was busy and wouldn’t pay attention to her.

You see, even though I see thousand of clients every year, when someone is ready to pass into spirit or they have something important they want to say to me, they ‘call me’.

I remember an incident with another client of mine. A pug who was deaf and blind but seemingly OK last time I had spoke with him. His human was going to go on vacation and it was my job to describe to him what was going to happen and how many days she would be gone. I knew she had come back from her trip the day before I went to sleep.

I usually sleep very soundly at night and have lots of dreams, some of them I remember but sadly some of them I do not. That night I was awaken suddenly. It was this pug talking in my ear. I became fully awake as my eyes open fast and I looked at the bright green light of the clock in front of me giving me the time of 3.07 in the early morning. I figure I would just close my eyes and turn around to go back to sleep. But this pug had a different idea. He kept telling me he didn’t know where he was or what was happening. He told me he was disoriented and didn’t know what to do. I recognize him immediately and almost in a haze told him that I would talk with him in the morning but that at that moment I didn’t have the presence of mind to be able to communicate with him. I fell asleep right away.

In the morning as soon as I went to my computer I found an e-mail from my client telling me her pug had a grand mall (a seizure that lasts for a long time) and that she had gotten up at 2.30 in the morning and taken him to the emergency hospital where he was put to sleep by 3.00 AM. Since I consider her more a friend than a client I immediate told her about what had happened to me and we decided to do a follow up consultation for him to find out if he was OK and if he had found his way. He has.

But she was a friend and someone I had no problem telling her about her pug coming to me instead of her because he knew I would communicate his feelings to his human.

This time the cat that was interrupting my day was from a client who I barely knew. How could I call the client to tell her, her cat wants to talk to her? That would be unprofessional! She will think that all I wanted was to get paid. I debated with myself what to do and finally decided that if I didn’t hear from my client by the next morning, that I would call her.

My voice mail was blinking on my work phone as I approached the desk the next morning and you don’t have to guess that the owner of the cat had left me a message regarding her cat’s outlook on life.

I called her back, yes, it is time for her to go. . .since yesterday. She has been trying to reach me, she has been telling me it’s time. The human was ready and arrangements were made to take her to the Vet. During the car ride there the cat knew this was to be her last ride, no meows, no howls, no scratching as it was her norm. She knew her suffering days were over and she was ready for it.

I love what I do, it’s my Life Assigment, but I never want people to think that I am calling them because I want to get paid for a consultation. What would you have done?

My First Post - or is it blog?

I am new to this. Not sure if I want to do it always but somehow today is a very important numerology date because is 6-7-8, so I thought it would be a good thing for me to start something new.

As an Animal Communicator I see a lot of clients and every single one of them is different. Today was no exception. I saw D and S today and they wanted to talk to their deceased pet Joc. He came in right away and had a very tough but gentle attitude about him. He said that he was always the tough one, and they were not. He was very proud of his parents and showed me a picture of them standing next to his grave weeping. He also said he could see his picture and how they took such good care of his resting place. Joc said he was very happy to see he was so loved.

He said the love he had for both of them was exactly equal and he didn’t love one more than the other. Then he showed me a heart cut in three equal parts, but his part was the one in the middle making me see that he loved both his parents just as much. He also said they’ve been together before, the three of them, in another lifetime but one was a woman.

For the first time a spirit described to me how he was able to be ‘around’ both his parents at the same time. So, he showed me how the cells separate (as if they were multiplying) and they make an exact replica of the energy so that him (or more specifically the energy that was him) separates into two equal parts when his parents are away from each other to follow them and be with them during the time of mourning. When they are back together, the energy simply joins again to become just one beam of light. He has been doing this since he passed just to make sure his essence follows both of them during their day.

It was a beautiful consultation and his humans got a lot of validations. I felt honor to have been a part of so much love from both sides.
