Through True Stories, An Animal Communicator Reveals the Fascinating and Heart-warming Inner World of Our Pets

Introduction: Free

Learn about the healing of a dying pet, a pet who overcame seizures, and one who revealed a previously unrecognized problem.

  • Practice sending healing yourself by using the detailed instructions for a healing technique you can use for your own pet.

The spirit of animals do come back to give us information but what it’s most startling in some of these stories is how human spirits are seen and heard by our animals and what they say about it.

Introduction: Free
An Important Note before you begin: Free

Chapter 1 - Communication Happens In Many Ways

People have been relying on the spoken word for thousands of years, but before we developed language there was another form of communication. Learn how to use this form to communicate with your animals.

Chapter 2 - Listening to Your Animals

Description of how Dr. Monica receives information from the animals, and how you too, can learn to receive this kind of communication. By listening to our animal’s feelings or requests we can bring about healing and understanding for the humans as well as their animals.

  • Meet Grady the seeing-eye dog trainee and find out what exactly she felt about her 18 months of training just before having to be tested on her final exam.
  • Pandora a 9 year old female English Staffordshire Terrier just lost her lifelong friend to cancer and now her family is leaving her too. A quiet and shy dog suddenly becomes a howling nightmare. Learn what she needed to help her adjust to the changes in her life.
  • Sheba a big female Rottweiler was able to described her pain due to cancer and what was her expectation as her life was nearing the end but her humans would not listen to her plea.
  • Gunner a 13 year old male German Shepherd told his human what he wanted and how he would let her know it was time to let him go. This client listen to him and you can see the difference a good listener makes.
Chapter 3 - Talking With Your Animals

How important it is for humans to talk with their animals out loud, even if you think they do not understand or are paying attention to you. Learn how misunderstandings happen when you don’t, and how you can correct that.

  • Tweegs a 12 year old cat woke up one day and started messing on top of the guest bed for no reason at all. . . or was it a good reason that the humans did not know! Learn what he said and what it took to fix the problem.
  • April was a rescue and this home was her last chance, but as I would soon find out she was using the living-room carpet as her personal potty. Find out what she thought, why she ‘just didn’t get it’ and how we were finally able to get a glimpse into her mind.
  • Kahuna’s story is delightful because it was done for a reporter with the idea of using Dr. Monica’s background for a small write up about what Animal Communication was. It turned out to be a four page spread on one of the biggest newspapers in California and was re-printed all over the country for six months running.
  • Sophie a 15 year old tortoiseshell cat had the wrong idea of what Mom wanted her to do even though the correction was made 8 years ago!
Chapter 4 - Physical Healing – Uncommon Pets

You might not think of a Wallaby, a goat and as pets but they are for those humans who have opened their home and their heart to them. They are also able to explain their complaints, their fears and their hurts by communicating them in picture form. If you have an unusual pet this is a place to start.

  • Annie the Wallaby fell from a second story balcony and could not hop anymore. But to hear her describe the incident is a different story. What happened and what is even more important, will she ever be able to hop again?
  • Chloe is a white pigmy goat who was carried in the clinic in a pet blanket and laid on the floor complaining of pain. Would we be able to help her regain mobility? Her human was skeptic but so worried about her that took a chance on a new approach. Chloe also had a secret that would reveal to her human Mom who took it as a validation that animal communication does exist.
  • Peanut the potbellied pig wanted to be one of the dogs. He had learned how to use the stairs and say good morning to his humans while they were still in bed. But he was not a dog. . . What happened that took his life?
Chapter 5 - Physical Healing – Man’s Best Friend

We can help the animals heal a lot faster if we can only ‘hear’ their complains and understand where the pain is coming from. Without communication these healings would not have taken place. If only you could ask your pet: Where does it hurt?

  • Xanto was an 18 months old sable German Shepherd who only learned to speak German. He was brought in the chiropractor’s office because he had injured himself in the excitement of training as a police dog. But during our communication he also told us how his toe was injured during training. T he x-ray confirmed it. How did he know?
  • Vickie was a tiny dachshund who could possibly die if we couldn’t find the reason for her not walking. There was no medical reason why, x-rays looks good, but little Vickie had a suggestion. . .
  • Buddha had a broken spine, and his human Mom just needed to know how this happened! Buddha’s will and determination to live will surprise you as it did his humans and all the doctors he came in contact with when the prognosis was very weak.
Chapter 6 - Emotional Healing

Sometimes people feel a behavioral problem is their pet’s way for punishing them. It’s not at all unusual for pets to act in abnormal ways when they’re confused, stressed, worried, sad or fearful about something. When animals do not understand why changes are taking place, they often react with visible signs of emotional distress. To understand themselves better they need to understand you and what you expect out of them.

  • Meet Zach, a black and white cat who was very unhappy because his human needed to travel. Also find out what he said to her about her messy room!
  • Now meet Abby and Zach’s roommate, who as a rule would not eat her food unless her human mom was there to feed her spending all weekend under the bed. This time Abby’s Mom was going on vacation for 10 days. Would Abby starve to death in 10 days?
  • Troy is a male, 5 ½ Shetland Sheepdog who as an albino is deaf and blind on one eye. Even at this young age he knew he was not ‘slow’ as his parent thought but what else would he tell them to make them change their mind?
  • We’ll visit with Kody on an adventure through the artic pole, Find out what we needed to do to convince him to get in the car after each stop.
Chapter 7 - Spiritual Healing

Why would our animals need spiritual healing? Because our pets are advanced animal souls who come into this plane of experience to be of service, sometimes they take on health challenges from their humans in an attempt to relieve their suffering and discomfort.

  • Meet Casey as I get an urgent call from my chiropractor colleague who feels Casey is dying but there is nothing physically wrong with him. What happened?
  • Meet Misty, a plumpy mix hound dog with thyroid problems like her human 17 year old Mom.
  • Also Max who out of nowhere starting having seizures like his human who surprisingly had less recurring seizures himself, while Max’s seizures were more severe each time.
  • What happens to the pets when an owner is suddenly gone? Or in Terry and Rhett’s case commits suicide? Do they know, do they suffer? Amazing story on how they told us and what we did about it.
Chapter 8 - Pets With Unique Conditions

What if something seems “just not quite right” with your pet, but you can’t identify exactly what it is? You did everything from puppy training, to hiring a behavior specialist or trainer, and yet your pet still seems to have difficulty adapting to daily living or worse, acts in curiously strange ways. In my experience there is always an answer.

  • Gwynne was very unhappy. Is it possible for a pet to commit suicide?
  • Meet B.O.B. a 10 year old Golden Retriever who was found wondering the streets. Rescuers sought everyone’s help when his panic attacks would not subside and day or night he would keep someone awake just to have company.
  • Jessica and a neurological problem new to me when connected to dogs.
  • Meet Tiny, the male miniature Maltese dog, who thought he was a girl.
  • Dung-Go a Shih-Tzu from Korea and her aversion to her new puppies. Learn why she did not love them and what we did to make sure they did not die or starvation.
If you are dealing with something unusual in your pet, this will be a good place to start.
Chapter 9 - Helping Other Intuitives

Is not always easy to communicate with your pet, especially if it is your own. That’s why even other Animal Communicators rely on others to help them through difficult times.

  • Agape was one of Dr. Monica’s oldest clients. His human an internationally known psychic. They were talking but not communicating. Read how they were able to finally come to terms.
  • Learn why Lucy didn’t understand her job or the perimeters of her home and how easy it was once she understood the information her Mom wanted to convey.
  • How an animal communicator is born. For the first time in her 50 some years someone confides she too can ‘hear’ the animals.
  • Meet Denver, a very tiny male Chihuahua who told his Mom why he chooses to stay around with his Dad, instead of going out with Mom as he always did.
Chapter 10 - Lost Pets

At the time of the writing of this book, Dr. Monica would rarely take on Lost Pets. She does not do that anymore. As an empathic it puts an enormous amount of pressure on her, both physically and emotionally. It is even more difficult when the pet has been lost for weeks or even months as some of these stories illustrate.

  • Felix the cat had been lost for weeks. Did we get there in time?
  • Baby Lawford, a cat, simply said: ”I can see Mom walking and shaking a can”. But did Mom find him?
  • T-Bird, a miniature Manchester Terrier was lost while staying with a pet sitter, 25 minutes away from her human parents’ home. They were away to a show. Read about what patience and determination it took for the humans to try to find her, and how after days of worrying I was getting ready for the worst.
  • Marissa was lost and they pleaded for help. It wasn’t until after Dr. Monica agreed that she found out it had been six months since anybody had seen her.
You pets really do want to come back home, if only we can tell them how.
Chapter 11 - Pets as Detectives

If you’ve ever had any doubt that animals are highly aware of what goes on around them, or that they can remember specific details for a long time, these next stories should help you dispel some of those misgivings.

  • Meet Rosco, my favorite dog detective as he uncovers what happened when a burglar entered his home, gives descriptions of them, tells us what they were wearing, what they did and where they went in the house.
  • Dennis, the cat knew he had been poison, can he also said who did it?
Chapter 12 - Pets as Doctors

Some animals are able to describe how they feel by sending specific details and sensations to the person who is receiving their information. As an empathy Dr. Monica begins by feeling what they feel and she is then able to pinpoint exactly where something hurts through actually experiencing it. These stories tell us different ways they do just that.

  • Chubbs was not feeling like himself lately and Mom took him to the Vet and then to see me. He was blunt and direct with her. Told her exactly what was happening.
  • Dottie, the guinea pig spoke loud and clear her concerns. A guinea pig? YES!
  • Chip waited patiently until his human Mom had ask him all her questions and then told her about a medical issue that was bothering him and wanted corrected.
  • Oreo, a black and white Pomeranian was diagnosed with pneumonia, but he said they were wrong.
  • Shannon a 13 year old Golden Retriever complain to her humans about a procedure that was not being done and wanted to know when were they going to take care of it.
  • Can a dog get a migraine headache? If so, how does one describe it! Meet Ichiban.
  • Tara, a little Shih-Tzu had been diagnosed with Mammary cancer, but did she?
  • Chance, the relentless pulling hair kitty had his say.
Chapter 13 - Pets and Healing - Even From the Other Side

Did you know that our animals are our greatest healers? They have an uncanny ability to see through the many layers we build around ourselves and if we listen to them, they can often provide us with insights into our true selves, helping us to heal emotionally and spiritually.

  • Chrissy,a little fluff of a white toy poodle, had been dead for a long time but her Mom’s heart still mourn for her. Instead of an answer to a question, she chimed in with her own question and a BIG attitude. Find out what he had to say to her human Mom.
  • Mary Ann, a tri-color Shih-Tzu had been gone for only two weeks but it was her description of what her humans had done during that time that convince them her spirit was still around and watching their every move.
  • Sunshine the cat who died suddenly and how she told her people why and how.
  • Wolfie’s story is singular one, because he was able to describe his human, now in the spirit world, and at the same time send a message to the humans’ Mom who wasn’t expecting an answer.
Chapter 14 - Pets Who Reincarnate

Is it possible for pets to reincarnate? Do they? What to do if they tell you they are coming back. These stories will help you with what you need to keep in mind.

  • Fritzy and Puggy, two dachshunds in the same household. Is only one of them coming back? How can they find him? Where to go!
  • Aicha the Cocker Spaniel wanted to come back soon, but she needed to wait till the right body became available. But, she had a special message for Mom regarding her new personality. Was Aisha found?
  • Detailed information about Reincarnation and how it works.
Chapter 15 - Pets as Soul Mates

A soul mate is someone with whom you share a deep spiritual connection, that when you meet again, you both feel as if you’ve known each other forever. A Soul Mate is someone you can’t imagine ever spending the rest of your life without. If we believe in reincarnation and how it works, then we can understand that eternal love has a way of finding us again and again. Dr. Monica has found many of us have found a Soul Mate in our pets.

  • Imagine my surprise when Boo told his human without any prompting from either of us that they had been together many times in many lifetimes. He told her that he was the one she had been looking for.
  • Trager, a German Shepherd died too young at the age of six. Now in spirit he knew his human had been his soul mate and told us so. Dr. Monica didn’t know at that time the extent of what this information meant to the human until she wrote her story down for her. See why it was the most important message of her life.
  • Sarahorsie an 18 year old female horse and her owner have an incredible story to tell about how long it took for them to be together and their triumph over people who wanted to keep them apart.
  • Information on How to find your Soul Mate.
Chapter 16 - Pets and Energy Imprinting

Dr. Monica is often asked by students and clients why their new pets seem to take on some of the exact behaviors of their deceased pets, even though it couldn’t possible be a case or reincarnation since both animals would be alive at the same time at some point of their lives. After many years of research and talking with many animals, she coined this characteristic “Energy Imprinting”. Find out the reasons for these unusual behavior in the next stories.

  • Chat and Thimble, two cats who came to live in a home where two previous cats lived share with us that the spirit of those pets who are passed is not gone but lives, by a bond of love, tied with you throughout eternity.
  • Learn how and why the animals that stay behind can ‘feel’ their energy.
  • Drawings and information on auras and what happens when their energy is no longer there.
  • List of differences between Reincarnation and Energy Imprinting, as well as time lines for both.
Chapter 17 - Releasing Our Pets When It’s Time

Sometimes it becomes our responsibility to help our pets make their transition so they won’t have to suffer unnecessarily. What do we need to know to help us make wise decisions for our pets when their lives are nearing the end? And how do we cope with our own feelings?

  • Meet Syler, a 13 year old German Shepherd mix and her family. She is dying fast and after giving them enough validations, she requested her Daddy would “let her go” because it was too difficult to continue to live.
  • Rambo, a male maltese diagnosed with skin cancer and what he said that convince his Mom she couldn’t wait any longer.
  • Buster the cat was angry at his parents. That’s right, not just upset, angry!
Chapter 18 - Lessons Learned

These two stories of Casey and Flower are both stories of love written by their humans. How they coped with illnesses and their last goodbyes, and what they have learned along the way. You will agree, cheer, laugh and cry. And in the end you’ll understand that love is really unconditional.

If after reviewing the chapter descriptions, you discover you’d like to read one or more whole books, or have them on hand for reference, you have two options available: you can buy an entire book as an e-book download, or you can order a paperback copy.

Some of you may wonder how I came to learn so much about helping animals -- enough, in fact, to fill five books with information.

While I knew at a very early age that it was completely normal for me to communicate with animals, it wasn’t until after I married and had children that I discovered a deep desire to learn much more about the special gift I had, and also to find out if there were other people in the world like me.

Nowadays, a simple internet search would instantly give me answers to many of my earlier questions, but at that time many years ago when I was first exploring how to use my intuitive gift, I didn’t have that resource available to me. Instead, in the course of following the ancient wisdom to “know thyself,” I studied with great teachers, psychics, intuitives, channelers, shamans, and regular people who just “knew” more than the average person.

I researched and studied five branches of philosophy:

  • Metaphysics: the study of philosophy that teaches you about the nature of being, existence, and reality. It helps you discover the first principles about important subjects such as God, Spirit, Truth, Being, Life, Law, and Purpose. It enables you to look at the relationship between mind and matter, and discover what true substance really is. It’s a way of looking at those questions that can’t be answered by using scientific analysis, observation, or experimentation. One of its branches, ontology, is concerned with the essence of things, while another branch, cosmology, deals with the universe as an orderly system.
  • Ethics: the study of moral philosophy or moral science. It’s the branch of philosophy that studies the principles of right and wrong in human conduct.
  • Aesthetics: the study of philosophy that deals with the perception of the beautiful as distinguished from the moral or the useful. It also deals with the sensations and the emotions evoked by beauty.
  • Epistemology: the branch of philosophy that deals with the study of the nature of knowledge: its origins, foundations, limits, and validity. It’s about the nature of truth, and what can be known about truth that we can’t perceive with our five senses.
  • Logic: the study of the science of pure reasoning. It helps us discover the laws of truth, and to discover the difference between our assumptions about something, and the truth about something. It’s a very effective tool to teach us how to reason accurately, and to help us identify patterns of good reasoning and patterns of bad reasoning so we can decide which to follow and which to avoid.
During my early studies, I also learned about:
Hands-on healing Hierarchy of Angels Clairvoyance Mysticism
Remote healing Ascended Masters Psychometry Theosophy
Toning Spirit Guides Linguistics Kabbalah
Incarnation White Brotherhood Mythology Shamanism
Reincarnation The Enlightened Manifestation Magik
Walk-ins Mediumship Phenomena Tarot
Karma Channeling Superstition New Age
Time/Space Trance UFO’s Religions

Later on, in response to specific questions from my clients and students about many of their pets’ health challenges, I also did considerable research in order to find a wide variety of healing modalities to share with them.

At first glance, many of the things I’ve studied might not seem to be related to animals, but over the many years I’ve worked as an Animal Communicator, I’ve learned that everything in the Universe is, indeed, related and connected. And when you begin to read the chapter synopses listed above, you’ll also begin to see those connections.

Just as I was looking for immediate answers to only a few specific questions years ago in the very beginning of my search, many people today would like to have a question or two about their pets answered right away, but they don’t want to have to buy a whole book to find those answers. So I’m here to lend a helping hand in the search for some “instant” answers about how you can help your pets.

It’s my hope that access to these individual chapters will give you the information and techniques you need to better understand and help your animals with whatever needs they may have.

Happy reading!
